We have the requisite experience in the management and support of the projects as we currently support critical facilities in many organizations. Few amongst such facilities and their organization are SITA AVIATION (EQUANT), ORION technologies (operators of Lagos lotteries), Access Bank, Oceanic Bank Plc, Zenith Bank, Intercontinental Bank, Zain Nigeria, and Etisalat.
We are direct distributor of the manufacturer of all the equipment in our design and we have handfuls of factory trained engineers to manage the equipment and ensure its serviceability throughout its expected life and even beyond.
As corporate organisation focusing on improving service delivery especially in the area of IT infrastructure, continuity of improvement on our resources- personnel, tools and equipment is our watchword, which has been a key factor of our growth over the years
Goals of the Load Bus System
- Outages (i.e. Input power loss to ICT infrastructure) will be completely eliminated. There must be 100% uptime.
- “Lock-ups” usually caused by poor power quality which are functions of voltage fluctuation from both internal and external threats, sags, spikes, surges, indirect/direct effect of lightning strike, transient etc will be totally eliminated with world rated power conditioning and surge suppression systems.
- Design and installation of effective power distribution that will make provision for :
- Redundancy
- Increased system security
- More efficient maintenance practice and improve reliability.
- Seamless transmission of power between the sources of conditioned power and protected equipment.
- There will be control monitoring for all power equipment where technically possible
LBS AND PROCESSED POWER DISTRIBUTION
The Liebert LBS (Load buss system) UPS solution would be deployed to support the data rooms. The system will comprise of:
- Datawave Magnetic Synthesizer / Automatic Voltage Regulator
- Liebert NXA UPS
- PPC (Precision Power Centre)
- STS (Static Transfer Switch)
- LBS module
The Dual Bus System also ensures:
- Multiple level of redundancy on both cabling and UPS power up to PPC level.
- Automatic Transfer of loads from one UPS to another via the LIEBERT STS without break. The Dual Bus Controls ensure synchronization of inputs to STS every second (even mains inclusive).
- Zero downtime during maintenance as there are multiple power parts that could be adopted depending on type of maintenance being done.
- Provides manual options for selection of preferred UPS source.
- High power availability (100% uptime)
- Provides dual buss for powering servers with dual input, this ensures highest availability.
- Full automation (i.e. once system is commissioned, it requires no further operator intervention except during normal periodic maintenance checks)
- Remote monitoring.
A series of fault scenarios has been simulated and response of the system obtained. The satisfaction thereof is soothing and guarantees a 100% uptime to the load supported by the system.
